Intercooler and Aftercoolers

Intercoolers and Aftercoolers are used to cool high pressure gas from compressors in order increase compressor efficiency and provide the gas at the point of application at the required pressure and temperature.

 

All intercoolers and aftercoolers are designed and manufactured to be complaint with ASME Sec VIII Div 1.

KEE can design and manufacture high efficiency finned intercoolers and aftercoolers with very specialised requirements such as:

• Design Pressure of 32 bar with test pressure of 42 bar

• Double Grooved Tube Expansion with Tube - Tubesheet orbital welding

• Tubesheets bonded with metals like Cupronickel, Titanium etc depending on application

• Fins coated with phenolic coating to ensure protection even in saline atmospheres.

• Helium Leak Tested by Vacuum Method (0.1 mbar; Helium on shell side) and passed with a leak rate of 10-8 std cc/sec.
